By sponsoring the school competition Imagine... you will contribute to the following goals:

•  Create enthusiasm with high school students for life science and technology in general

•  Challenge scientists to think of useful applications of their research in developing countries

•  Implement life science & technology innovations in developing countries

How does it work?

Imagine… has three phases:

•  Project proposals : scientists are invited to submit proposals for the application of a specific technology in a developing country.

•  A school competition : high school students will be invited to set up a business plan for any of the selected project proposals.

•  Implementing the project : the winning project will be carried out in the destination country on the basis of the business plan and the original proposal, and with the involvement of the winning students and the scientist who proposed the project.

What can I do?

You or your company can support the project by contributing financially (any amount will help!) or in kind. Your contribution will be used for the implementation of the project and the organisation of the school competition.

In return, you will have the opportunity to get in touch with enthusiastic high school students and scientists who are keen to bring innovations to people who need it most. Your contribution to Imagine... will become known through symposia, websites and news features. This way you will reach a much larger audience of students, scientists, teachers and parents.
