Founded in 1842, Delft University of Technology is the oldest, largest, and most comprehensive technical university in the Netherlands. With over 13,000 students and 2,100 scientists (including 200 professors), it is an establishment of both national importance and significant international standing. The Department of Nanosciences

The Kavli Institute of Nanoscience consists of six research groups and a nanofacility cleanroom, all aimed at innovative research at the current frontier of science on a nano-scale.

Working Group on Biotechnology and Society

The Working Group on Biotechnology and Society is an interdisciplinary research group set up to coordinate the social research and societal activities of the Department of Biotechnology. It's research focuses on 4 subjects: public perceptions, sustainability, communication and innovation.
